Mary Marguerite "Mikki" Dionne, 91, of Traverse City passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Munson Hospice House in Traverse City.

Born on Saturday, August 11, 1923 in Alma, Mikki was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Witkam) Grosskopf. She married Francis E. "Frenchy" Dionne on Saturday, July 31, 1943 in Detroit.

Mikki lived in the Grand Traverse area for the last 45 years. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Eagles, and Senior Center. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards and visiting friends and the Grosskopf Clan.

Mikki is survived by her children, John "Mike" (Marie) Dionne, James Roland (Tricia) Dionne and David Allan Dionne. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Eric, Stephen (Becky) Michael and Thomas; great grandchildren, Chantelle, Jordan, Brent, Aubree and Wyatt; and a great great grandchild, Cameron. Mikki was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law Tammy and her siblingsTheodore, Loretta, Jerry, Everett, Anthony, Alfred, Wilbur and Johnny Grosskopf, Iola Mitchell, Irene Overmeyer and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mikki will take place at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 6 pm until 8 pm with the rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 23 at 11 am at St. Francis Catholic Church with visitation beginning 10 a.m. Father Kenneth Stachnik presiding. Entombment will take place in the Mausoleum of Oakwood Catholic Diocesan Cemetery.
