Mary Bennett Henderson, 94, of Traverse City, passed away September 26, 2019 at her home. Mary was born February 12, 1925 to Wesley Bennett & Holland Staples in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Mary was a registered nurse by profession, and also an accountant/office manager for their two businesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years "Bill" Henderson.

She is survived by her son James (Maria) Henderson of Altamonte Springs, FL.; daughters Betsy Henderson (Brad Hokanson) of Edina, MN and Anita (Paul) Riess of Traverse City; grandchildren Todd and Nathan Henderson and Tamila Treber; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3 from 5-7 pm at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place Saturday at 3 pm at the Traverse City Seventh-day Adventist Church, with visitation one-hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Traverse City SDA Church, 2055 Four Mile Rd., Traverse City, MI 49686.
