Mary Katherine Strong, age 79, born on March 12,1944, passed away on September 12,2023, after a long battle with progressive aphasia. She will be dearly missed.

Mary grew up in Fenton, Michigan area, where her father traveled showing Gospel films. Mary played the organ and piano throughout her life and sang also beautifully. Mary was a beautician, a cashier at McDonald's, a receptionist at State Farm and most importantly a loving wife and mom. She loved people, often greeting them with a quick smile and warm hug.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Bernie; her children Sandi Strong and Bernie (Barbie) Strong; her sister Ruth (Dale) Iveson; grandchildren Brad, Josh (Brittney) and Wes; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on October 7,2023 at Woodside Wesleyan, 6789 OleWhite Dr, Lake Ann, MI 49650 at 11am. Burial will be at a later date.
