MaryJane Hague, 80, of Traverse City and formerly of Flint passed away at Munson Hospice House on August 26, 2018.
MaryJane was born on March 5, 1938 in Flint to the late Wesley and Wanda (Roat) Ostrander.
Mary Jane, better known as MJ married Robert Hague on June 17, 1958 in Flushing.
MJ was an accountant for many years. She was a life time member of the Elks Stich and B. Club and the Trillium Garden Club. She served as the Trillium President in 1982. She also served as the president of the Munson Bazaar. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, watching the birds, painting, refurbishing furniture and sewing. She also loved to spend time outdoors and enjoy all the beauty that nature has to offer. She will be greatly missed.
MJ is survived by her son R. Daniel(Cecilia) Hague, daughter Kathryn Jane Shales and sister Carol Throop.
MJ was preceded in death by her husband Robert A,, son-in-law Robert D. Shales and brother-in-law David Throop.
The memorial service celebrating MJ's life will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11am with visitation beginning at 10am at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home Garden with a luncheon to follow.
