Maxine Lorraine Olson (née Beeman) 95, passed away on April 13, 2026.She was born March 2, 1931 to Walter and Olive (Arnold) Beeman. She married Gerald (Jerry) Olson on August 28, 1952.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jerry; daughter Jennifer Thomas; siblings Larry, Ed (Dortha), Gerald (Lois), Walter (Judy), Bert (Arlene), Ada (Walter Pierce), and Joan Beeman.

She is survived by sister Nancy (Jim) McRoberts; sons Paul, Jeff, and Karl (Melissa) Olson; 3 grandchildren: Shawna (Kyle) Seitter, James, and Christopher Thomas; 2 great-grandchildren: Lauren and Grant.

Maxine had deep faith as a lifelong member of Bayview Wesleyan Church where everyone knew her as a greeter, with a big smile for all who met her.

Her favorite word was “Joy” and nothing gave her more, than sending birthday & Christmas cards to all her family members, on both sides of the family. Hundreds of cards at a time! She also knitted baby clothes for new additions to the family, and needlepoint too. She loved to drive herself to church, going to prayer group, and the beauty salon every week.

After Jerry retired until he passed, they wintered in Phoenix for 6 months every year for 20 years.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind. I want to meet you all in heaven one day, when your time comes, Jerry and I will be waiting for you.”
