Michael Bettley

Michael "Mike" Bettley a.k.a "Skully", 62, self-proclaimed frisbee golf professional, passed away October 31, 2022 at Medilodge of GTC not only with his wife by his side but also his family.
Mike was born in Midland on December 23, 1959 to Ronald and Sylvia (Gable) Bettley.
Mike enjoyed many things and was often known for his collections that, noted by his wife, he did not purge but rather was on a "5 year plan" to complete said project.
He lived life to the fullest, enjoyed spontaneous road trips and was also known to take a midnight bike ride or two.
Avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching his "typical" Lions. He was content with a fishing pole in his hand and loved to host a good BBQ.
Mike was a selfless man that gave all and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his Wife Diane, Son Christopher(Kristin) Bettley, Mother Sylvia, Sister Susan(Russ) Carpenter, Brother Pete, Mother in Law Audrey Fouch, Sister Debra, Sister Cheri(Steve)Youmans, Nephews Nathan, Nick, Kyle, and Neice Jessica.
He is preceded in death by his father Ron Bettley, his brother Kevin and Father in Law Lester Fouch and brother in law Cliff Julien.
The family would like to thank MediLodge of GTC and Hospice of Michigan for the love and care of Michael.
A celebration of life will be held next summer date and time TBD.
