Michael Lee Easter, 59, of Traverse City passed away June 25, 2017 at Munson Medical Center.

Michael was born on July 29, 1957 in Rapid City, S.D. to Richard and Evelyn Easter.

Michael graduated from Leland High School.

He served our country honorably as a member of the United States Army.

Michael cherished his beloved poodle Chantel. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Michael is survived by his mother Evelyn; son, Sage Meyers; siblings Guy (Sue), Laura (Russell) and David (Kathy) and many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Richard.

The family will honor his life privately. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.
