TRAVERSE CITY - Michael Raymond Lynch, age 69 of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home. He grew up and graduated from high school in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. After school, Michael traveled the US and settled down in Traverse City, Michigan where he resided the remainder of his life. Michael loved the outdoors and was an avid cyclist and cross-country skier, later in life he relished extended walks in the woods. Michael was a hard worker and enjoyed the company of family, friends, co-workers and customers, by all of whom he will be missed. Michael is preceded in death by his parents Jack Lynch and Carol (Morris) Lynch. Michael is survived by one brother and sister, Dean (Kim) Lynch and Bonnie (John) Hayward; and one niece Christine Hayward.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Saturday, May 15 at 3:00 pm. Due to current restrictions, services for Michael will be held outside. Please dress appropriately.
