Michael Allen Rode's Obituary
Michael Allen Rode, 61, of Traverse City began his eternal Journey toward Heaven on February 3, 2025.
Mike was born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 12, 1963 to Joe and Gania (Chase) Rode.
He is survived by his parents, sister Debbie (Randy) Postma of Florida, Anne (Robert) Mitchell from Arkansas, his two children Chad (Naomi) Rode and Amanda Rode both of Traverse City, his aunt Barb Bonham of Howard City.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents Joseph and Agnes Rode, his younger sister Lisa Rode in 1982, and his brother John Rode in 2023.
Mike like watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers play. He also like to sing, deer hunt and do crossword puzzles.
A celebration of life will take place in the Spring at St. Francis Catholic Church in Traverse City. Burial will take place at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens in the Spring.
Mike and his family are being cared for by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
