Michael Edward Sarber, 54, born November 3rd, 1971 passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully. Mike possessed a kind and gentle spirit. He delighted in entertaining, frequently cooking and grilling for loved ones and hosting lawn games like croquet, as well as billiards, a game in which he rarely lost and often competed. His love for music shone through as he attended concerts and played his favorite pieces both during gatherings and in quiet moments alone. He also had a deep passion for skiing and biking. Above all, Michael treasured the joy of making others smile, relishing time with family and delighting in watching his nieces and nephews grow and play.

Michael is survived by his loving mother, Marlene Lillian Sarber; his siblings Dwayne Sarber and his wife, Val Sarber, and their children Danielle and Kyle Sarber; Kyle is married to Jamie Sarber and they have two children Henry and Roman Sarber; his brother Robert Sarber and his wife, Susan Sarber, and their daughter Michelle Sarber; and his sister Stacey O'Keefe, her children Margaret and Fionnan O'Keefe, and co-parent Sean O'Keefe.

We find solace in knowing that Michael was warmly welcomed into heaven by his father, Robert Sarber, as well as his grandmother, Vera Sarber, who cherished her grandchildren deeply, and Con Sarber, who remains in our hearts, even though he never had the chance to meet his grandchildren in this life.

In remembering Michael, we hold onto the love and warmth he shared, and we honor his memory by supporting one another with compassion and kindness.
