Michael Scott Schwendener

Michael Scott Schwendener, age 62; loving father of Elizabeth Schwendener and Jennifer Schwendener; cherished son of Betty Jane and the late Paul H. Schwendener Jr.; dear brother of Paul (Maureen) Schwendener III, and Robert Schwendener; fond uncle of Scott, Katie, Kevin, Paul "Kip", Jeffrey, and Stephen Schwendener.
Michael embraced life with enthusiasm and his passion for boating on the Great Lakes, savoring the sunsets and the wonders of nature. He enjoyed taco nights, dinner at the Bluebird, breakfast at the Early Bird, bonfires on the beach, s'mores and laughing with friends and family.
He was an established businessman and worked tirelessly as President of Paul H. Schwendener, Inc.
A graveside celebration of Michael's life will be held at 1:30 pm on September 17, 2016, at Beachwood Cemetery in Leland, Michigan.
