TRAVERSE CITY – Mildred "Cam" Louise Cassens, 100, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Munson Medical Center. Mildred Campbell was born on March 13, 1913 in East Hampton, Massachusetts. She was married to John Donald Cassens on September 1st 1938. He proceeded her in death.

She will be missed by her daughter; Karen (Hobby) Thompson of New Zeeland, sons; John (Michelle) Cassens of Eastmanville, MI, Stephen (Lory) Cassens of Traverse City, MI, Glenn (Joy) Cassens of Mequon, WI, and Paul (Singh) Cassens of Honolulu, HI, plus 11 grand children and 13 great grand children and a sister; Norma Calahan of Milford Connecticut Mildred lived at Boardman Lakes Glens with her friends and was know for her love of books and reading. Memorials may be sent to the Traverse City Public Library in her name.
