Mona Marie Arlt

TRAVERSE CITY - Mona Marie Arlt age 80, of Traverse City, passed away on Friday December 28, 2018 at the Munson Hospice House after a long battle with cancer.
Mona was born on May 11, 1938 to AJ and Gladys (Brown) Butler in Mayville, Michigan.
At the age of 10 the family moved to a farmstead east of Manton, Michigan where she resided until she met and married Arlyn Brock in 1960. They made their home in Traverse City, and when you would see the two of them you knew instantly that he was the love of her life and she was the queen of his world.
After Arlyn passed away she met and married Duane Arlt of Buckley and continued to reside in Traverse City.
Mona is survived by her youngest brother, Everett Butler of Grafton, ND, two nephews, two nieces, daughter, Elaine Push ( Jerry) of Port Charlotte, FL, two grand-children; Sean Push of Aspen, CO, and Armanda Castor (Jamie) and great-grandson, Lucas of Northport, FL.
Mona was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Charles and Alonzo, husbands; Arlyn and Duane, and one nephew.
The family wishes to thank her life long friends and neighbors John and Armita Chambillo, Viola Korb, and Kathy and Mike for being there for Mona.
A visitation for Mona will take place from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be directed to, Munson Hospice House, 450 Brook Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
