Nancy Hannan Hirsch

Nancy Hannan Hirsch, 73, of Traverse City passed away February 21, 2020 at the Munson Hospice House with her family by her side.
Nancy was born on October 3, 1946 in Detroit to the late George and Ida (Hannan) Weiswasser.
After graduating from Andover High School she earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Michigan.
Nancy married Victor Hirsch on January 28, 1973.
Nancy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She enjoyed reading, playing board games with her grandkids, playing bridge and socializing with friends. She was very active in the Congregation Beth Shalom. She also was a volunteer for the United Way.
Nancy is survived by her son Jeff (Jami) Hirsch; her grandchildren Vale and Lola and her cousin Bill Weiswasser.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Victor.
Funeral services were held on February 23, 2020 and interment took place at Oakwood Cemetery.
