Nancy Helen McClure, of Traverse City passed away Monday October 14, 2013 at 89 years
of age surrounded by her loving family.


Nancy was born August 4, 1924 in Saginaw, MI. to Earl E. and Elsie Helen (Zietz) Blohm. Later Nancy moved to the Jackson area with her mother where Elsie met and married Carl Robert Randolph who adopted her and became her loving Father. She attended Jackson High School graduating in 1942 and went on to graduate from Michigan State University in 1946 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Institutional Administration.

Nancy married Donald Keith McClure in 1947 in Lansing, MI. She traveled extensively with Don's Air Force Career including two tours in Europe. The family settled down in Traverse City in 1971. Nancy worked for Cone Drive where she supervised the order entry department for many years before retiring.

Nancy enjoyed oil and watercolor painting as well as ceramic art since her first art lessons in Germany. In retirement she spent her time creating beautiful pieces of art for her family to remember and enjoy.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sons; Randy, Gary, Craig and Mark, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
