Nancy Patino-Rufli, age 83, of Williamsburg, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her home.
Nancy worked for many years as a coordinator of apheresis at the America Red Cross and was a Bookkeeper for Good Foods Co-op in Lexington, KY. Later in life, she moved back to her hometown and favorite place, Traverse City, and married her high school sweetheart, Ben. Nancy was very active and enjoyed ice skating, roller skating, and ballroom dancing. She even won 3rd place in a national swing contest. A very sweet lady, her family and friends will miss her.
Nancy was widowed by her former husband, Ed Patino. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Sims; and siblings, Gary (Idalyn "Ike") Hiatt, Robert Hiatt, John Hiatt, Richard Hiatt, Judy (Don) Courtad.
She is survived by her husband, Ben Rufli; children, Pam Meaney-Abdallah, Scott (Akemi) Meaney, Daniel (Debbie) Meaney; grandchildren, Angel, Teri Kei, Benjamin, Megan, Derek, Blake, Matt; and many beloved great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St. Traverse City. Family will welcome visitors an hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children Hospital or the American Red Cross.
