Nancy Marie Phillips, 68, of Empire, Michigan formerly Waterford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Munson Hospice House. Nancy Cwengros was born on May 29, 1953 in Detroit to the late Elmer and Betty (Boss) Cwengros. She married the love of her life, Everett Phillips. He preceded her in death on July 11, 2011. Nancy loved her home in Glen Arbor, she spent countless hours in her yard watching the wildlife. She was very artistic, she enjoyed doing ceramics and painting. Above all, spending time with her family was her greatest joy.

Nancy is survived by two daughters; Dana (Rob Daniels) Phillips, Elizabeth (Josh) Conwell and grandchildren, Madylin Conwell and Ryder Conwell. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother; Susan (Michael) Hagen, Mary (Pete) Bolton and Paul (Doris) Cwengros, two sisters-in-law; Kathy Cwengros and Karen Phillips as well as a special cousin, K.B. Sutton and many nieces, nephews, cousins and her faithful dog, Bindi.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Cwengros, Jim and sister-in-law, Rita Cwengros and a nephew, Michael Cwengros, Jr.

In accordance with Nancy's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
