Nancy Jo (Lappo /Schneider) Shay, 74, of , died Thursday, March 08, 2018 in Traverse City.
Nancy was born on Sunday, June 13, 1943 to the late Leonard and Margery (George) Lappo in Detroit. She graduated from Traverse City Central High School in 1961.
Nancy owned and operated Jo-Don Upholstery for over 30 years and was an avid gardner.
She is survived by her sons, Dean, Donald and David Schneider; grandchildren Joe and Shannon, great grandchildren, Riley, Stormy and Ava Schneider and her sisters, Patricia Jackson, Charlene Gleason and Roberta Whaley.
A family memorial service will be held this summer.
