Neil E. Yarick, 79, of Traverse City passed away peacefully at his home on August 26, 2024.

Neil was born on January 8, 1945 in Toledo, OH to the late John Ross and Mable Grace (Smith) Yarick.

Neil served our country honorably as a member of the United States Airforce from 1965-1969.

He worked for Toledo Edison for 25 years and retired in 1995.

On November 16, 1974, he married Joyce Eileen Chetister. Together they celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage.

Neil loved flying RC planes, working on John Deere tractors, watching Detroit Tigers games, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Phil, Richard and Jack and beloved dog Buddy.

Neil is survived by his wife Joyce, daughter Shelly, nephew Todd whom was more like a son to him and yellow lab Cooper.

Interment and services will take place at a later date in Toledo, OH.
