Norma Jean Anderson was born on September 28, 1928 in Lima, OH to the late Harold and Lena (Sherfey) Wright. She married Harry Wagner Anderson on April 30, 1947 in Greenup, KY. Norma enjoyed and received much satisfaction in working the elections in Lakeview. She was a Girl Scout leader, member of a bridge club, and former member of Westlake Presbyterian Church. Norma enjoyed tennis, golf, fishing, bridge and traveling. Norma loved Ohio State football, with MSU football as her second favorite team. Norma is survived by daughter, Lynda (David) Rowlee, of Okemos; son, Alan (Karen) Anderson, of Traverse City; grandchildren, Shanon (Jim) Gallagher, Neal Rowlee, Kimberly Anderson; great-grandchild, Jayden Russell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry on Sept. 16, 2011 and by a brother; John Wright and a sister; Irene Hinkley.
Graveside committal services will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery with immediate family.
