Oscar John Antoine, 55, of Traverse City, passed away November 17, 2016 with his loving wife, son and mother by his side.
Oscar was born on April 17, 1961 to Everett and Carolyn (Thiel) in Traverse City.
After graduating high school at Traverse City Central High, he went into the floor covering business with his dad. Together they shared a passion for all types of construction as well as some wonderful times working side by side.
Oscar was best described as a wonderful, patient, and loving father. He was the best cook in the area and when a Lemon Meringue Pie was needed for an event, it always came from his kitchen.
He was the captain of yard decorations for Halloween and always enjoyed the family time for Christmas. He was the "mommy's boy" and also a true inspiration to friends and family as he courageously fought Diabetes from the age of 7.
He fell in love with and married Karyann. Together they had a handsome son Robert "Robbie".
Oscar is survived and missed dearly by his wife Karyann; his son Robert 'Robbie'; his daughter Kathryn; mother Carolyn, sisters; Sue (Bruce) Clark, Christine (Rob Worm) and Lola (James Maue), nieces and nephews; Erica Clark, James Rezendes, Derek Clark, Jeremy Clark, Died're Clark and Sarah Petty; in-laws, Russell (Karen) Clark; brothers in-law, Jeremy (Katherine) Clark, Jason (Jodi) Clark and their children, Kaitlin, Nathan and Johnathan.
He is preceded in death by his father Everett.
