Padith "Pez" Bouttavong, 46, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.

Pez was born on August 2, 1970 in Laos to Bounhome and Vong (Phommakhot) Bouttavong. He and his family moved to the Traverse City area on May 20, 1980.

In his younger years Pez loved working at Skate World and currently he worked at Grand Traverse Pets. In his spare time he loved to hunt, fish, roller skate, dance and especially play paint ball. Most importantly Pez loved his family and he truly loved to spend time with them. Pez will be remembered as a free-spirit, a good son, brother and a devoted uncle. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Surviving Pez is his mom Vong and step-dad Thavone Keomany; siblings, Chitdavone "CJ" (Vanny) Bouttavong, Pong (May) Bouttavong, Lammone (Pete) Bushbaker; nieces and nephews, Calvin, KC, Eric, Peter, Kiersten, Dianne, William and many other loving family members and friends.

Pez is preceded in death by his dad Bounhome.
