Pat Arthur Mullen

Pat Arthur Mullen, 72, of Traverse City passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on July 6, 2022.

Pat was born on October 27, 1949 in Traverse City to the late William Arthur and Maxine Julia (Forton) Mullen. On June 19, 1971, he married Nancy Lee Kurburski.

Pat was a customer service specialist at AT&T. He loved his job and retired after 54 years with the company. He also specialized in fiber optics.

In his free time, Pat enjoyed woodworking. cheering on Jeff Gordon, watching wrestling and working on cars. In his younger years he was very involved with his kids and enjoyed helping with PTO projects and the playground at Traverse Heights.

Pat will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and sarcastic wit. He loved to make people smile.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy and sister Darlene (Ron) Mann.

Pat is survived by his son Jeffery (Ken) Mullen – Swaro; daughter Suzanne (Zachary) Hyland; grandchildren Madison and Natalie and brother Billy (Connie) Mullen.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

The funeral service will also be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 11 am with visitation beginning one hour prior. Graveside services will follow at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
