Patricia A. Gavin, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions after a long battle with cancer. She was born to Richard and Pearl Murphy on July 22nd, 1953 in Port Huron MI, and graduated from Port Huron Northern in 1971. She married Daniel Gavin on April 21, 1972 so she just celebrated her 45th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her husband Daniel, a sister Janet (Jeff) McCallum, a fantastic mother in law, many dear brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as friends. Patricia loved creating arts and crafts for the local craft shows. A graveside service will take place at Oakwood Catholic Cemetery on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place and there will be a service for the family at a later date.
