Patricia Lois (Clark) Hagerman, 82, of Glen Arbor and formerly of Hemlock, passed away unexpectedly November 22, 2013.
Pat was born on Thursday, July 30, 1931 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Kenneth Eugene and Lois Mavis Katheline (Burton) Clark. She married Robert L. Hagerman on Saturday, Sept. 1, 1951 in Minneapolis.
She was a long-time member of Hemlock United Methodist Church including the UMW. She was a founder of the Children's Story Hour at Hemlock Public Library. She loved music and was a sustaining member of The Music House Museum in Acme, MI. She served as President of the Hemlock Jaycee Auxiliary and helped organize celebrations to commemorate Hemlock's centennial as well as its sesquicentennial.
After living in Hemlock for more than 40 years, she moved with her husband upon his retirement from Dow Chemical to Glen Arbor, MI in 1995 .Pat loved living in the wooded area observing the wildlife. She enjoyed bridge, baseball and her dominos group. Reading to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was her greatest joy.
Pat is survived by her husband, Robert, son Scott (Susan), daughter Julie Forbes (Mark), grandchildren Breanne (Nate) Hubbard, Ryan Forbes, Aimee (Jason) Fromholz, Shannon (Kelly) Guilbeaux, Joshua Guilbeaux, Great Grandchildren Madison Fromholz, Jaxson Fromholz, Alexis Nickel, Payton Guilbeaux, Alivia Guilbeaux, Preston Guilbeaux and Noah Hubbard; a sister, Kathleen (Ernest) Morreim, several nieces and nephews; her long-time friends Nonie (James) Warner, and Jean Unger. Besides her parents Kenneth and Lois Clark, she was preceded in death by her son Bobby , and her beloved dog Molly.
A memorial service for Pat will take place at 3:00 P.M. January 19, 2014 at The Hemlock United Methodist Church, 406 W. Saginaw St., Hemlock. Interment will be in Richland Township Cemetery, Hemlock, with the cremains of her son, Bobby. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hemlock United Methodist Church, The Cherryland Humane Society or The Music House Museum.
