Patricia Carolyn Holstine

Pat Holstine, 85, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 22, 2023.

Pat was born on March 8, 1938 in Hamtramck to the late Victor and Helen (Kunka) Usiondek.

On January 19, 1957, Pat married Richard James Holstine at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Detroit.

Family was most important to her. 4th of July was always her favorite time of year when the whole family gathered together at her house on Elk Lake. She also had a love for the game of Scrabble and enjoyed going to the casino every chance she got. She belonged to St. Colette's guitar group and a pinnacle group for many years and loved the many lifelong friends she made. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard, parents, brother Gerald and grandson Michael.

Pat is survived by her children Kathleen (Michael) Stacey, James (Sharen) Holstine, Thomas (Peggy) Holstine, Jeffery Holstine and Terrence (Heidi) Holstine; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild who all lovingly called her Granny and another great great grandchild due any day.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 10 am at her parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elk Rapids. Mass will begin at 11 am followed by a luncheon for family and friends. After the luncheon, interment will take place at Oakwood Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
