Patricia Mcelroy Linden

Patricia Linden, 77, of Traverse City, died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Patricia was born on Saturday, November 28, 1936 to the late William and Ursula (McCarthy) McElroy in Philadelphia, PA. She married Donald Linden in 1963 and he preceded her in death in 1973.

A real estate agent, Pat had made her home in Traverse City since 1978, moving here from Gaylord. She enjoyed painting, sewing, reading and music, had an awesome sense of humor and was always smiling. One of her greatest joys was time spent with her grandsons.

Pat is survived by her children, Paul Linden of Los Angeles, CA, Emily (Howard) Whiteman of West Lafayette, IN; her grandsons, Everett, Timothy and Isaac and her siblings, Michael (Bridget) McElroy of Royal Oak, Molly McElroy of Southfield and Martin (Aileen) McElroy of Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband and parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother Phil.

At her request, cremation has taken place. A visitation time will take place from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
