Patricia Ann (Lauterhahn) McKinley passed quietly at the age of 91 on Oct. 28th 2019. Patricia Ann was born in Grand Rapids Michigan on Aug. 15th 1928. She made her way to Williamsburg MI at the young age of 5 where she began her life as a country girl. She truly had a passion in playing her violin and had opportunities to study at the Interlochen Arts Academy. Pat graduated from Traverse City High School in 1946 where she met Scott Wayne McKinley marrying him two years later on Sept. 5th 1948. Raising her five children and farming cherries became her life! She thoroughly enjoyed gardening, cooking and taking care of not only her family but the farm's crew as well! Just don't ever show up without washing your hands and removing your hat before a meal! Eating pizza and playing Dominoes on Saturday Nights along with singing in the Faith Reformed church choir on Sunday mornings were among some of her favorite past times. Along with being a member of The Eastern Star.

Patricia is survived by her four living children Toni McKinley-Crowfoot, Jan Marie (McKinley) Harrison (deceased), Laura Crowfoot-McKinley, Sarah (McKinley) Van Walsum (Robert Van Walsum) and Kevin McKinley (Kathy Jo McKinley). Grand Children: Brian Steed, Jason Steed, Corey Harrison (deceased), Eric Harrison, Danielle Miller, Scott Nutt, Rachel Falzon, Caleb Van Walsum, Rebekah Van Walsum. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service for Patricia will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Patricia will be laid to rest at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens immediately following the 11:00 am funeral.
