Patricia Ann (Struble) Miller, 89, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully at Munson Medical Center on Sunday, June 23, 2024. Patricia was born on November 15, 1934 to Harold and Eva Struble of Traverse City, who preceded her in death. Her dad always said she was the best doe he got during deer season.
Patricia married the love of her life, Jackie Porter Miller, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together they created a legacy of love and commitment that inspired many. Jackie preceded her in death in 2009.

Patricia will be deeply missed by her children: Barbara (Robert-deceased) Pawloski of Traverse City, Jackie (Annie) Miller of Traverse City, Sue (George) Champlin of Traverse City and Terri (Dave) Allen of Shelbyville, Indiana. Patricia had 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is Patricia's loving companion Tommy, her cat, who she loved dearly.

Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings and spouses Beverly (Ronald) Horton, Barbara (Herbert) Sweet, Mary (John) Randall, Robert (Shirley) Struble, mother-in-law and father-in-law Louis and Ethel Miller, brothers-in-law Robert (Florence) Miller and James (Mary) Miller, and a sister-in-law Marge Miller.

She worked in the Munson Hospital business office for 23 years. Patricia was VFW Post 2780 Auxiliary President, past Secretary for the Korean War Veterans Association, she also enjoyed working with the VFW BINGO group. She was very proud of being a military wife. She loved her country and traveled the world with her military husband.

In her earlier days, she was proud to have been a Cherry Festival Princess and was active in Girl Scouts & Cub Scouts and was a leader for both. She enjoyed attending Traverse City High School football games. Patricia loved Elvis Presley and owned many of his movies and records. She would watch them any chance she had.

Our family would like to thank the staff at Joy Givers for giving our mom the best care, love and support during the last weeks of her life. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Munson Medical Center that cared for her during her last week of life. The compassion and care not only for our mom, but for our family, was outstanding. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.

A Funeral Service honoring Patricia will take place at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684. Pastor Chris Lane will officiate. Burial will follow in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
