Patricia Irene Pierce

Patricia I. Pierce, 82, of Traverse City, Michigan, passed away surrounded by her family on October 14, 2026.

Born in Port Huron, Michigan, Pat later moved to Northern Michigan to raise her family. Throughout her career, Pat was a hairdresser, small business owner, and jeweler. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, and reading, especially her beloved Agatha Christie mysteries. Above all else, Pat treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald E. Pierce, and her daughter, Jerene.

She is survived by her sons, Steven and Derek; her sisters, Kay Hall (Bowie) and Ellen Bowie; her brother, Jerry Bowie; her grandchildren, Haley Griffin (Pierce), Alex Pierce, Hannah Pierce, Brady Pierce, Alexandra Pierce, and Helena Pierce; and her great-grandchildren, Emmy and Charlie.

A private family celebration of life will be held in Traverse City, followed by a graveside service at Mount Hope Cemetery in Port Huron on Wednesday, October 21st at noon.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Patricia's honor to the Father Fred Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
