Patricia Sue Ritter, 74, of Traverse City passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Ritter's Assisted Living Center with her loving family by her side.
Patricia was born on Wednesday, February 10, 1943 to Edwin and Gwendolyn (Seaman) Sachtleben in Traverse City. She attended the one room School on Cedar Run road, graduated from Traverse City Central High School and married Dale Ritter in 1962. Patricia was always ready to help others and lived her life for her lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dale and Patricia owned and operated Adult Foster Care Homes for over 15 years and she enjoyed spending their winters in Florida.
She began to love horseback riding at a young age and she loved her dogs, especially Molly and Scarlet.
Patricia is survived by her husband Dale Ritter; sons Matthew (Lori) Ritter, David (Jeannie) Ritter, Paul (Lynn) Ritter and Jason (Shari) Ritter; her sister Elaine (Robert) Barley, her brother Philip (Gloria) Sachtleben; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Gwendolyn (Seaman) Sachtleben, her brother Gary and infant brother Dale.
A celebration of Patricia's life will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ritter's Assisted Living Center, 5008 Barney Road, Traverse City, MI.
