Patricia Susan Rocconi, age 73, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, with family by her side.
Pat was born on June 12, 1951, in Iron Mountain, Michigan, to the late Etolo Francis and Christine (Smith) Rocconi.
A proud graduate of Northern Michigan University, Pat spent her career as a dedicated social worker, touching countless lives throughout her professional life. In her free time, she found joy in hiking and immersing herself in the beauty of the great outdoors. Above all, she treasured moments spent with her sons, grandchildren, and many dear friends. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Pat was preceded in death by her son's father, Daniel Nemode, and her nephew, Daniel Bowen.
She is survived by her sons Matthew (Beth) Nemode, Ben (Katie) Nemode, and Scott (Merica) Nemode; her beloved grandchildren Jemma, Mason, Emerson, Logan, Harrison, and Jack; her siblings Janet (Mike) Froze, Joanne (Mike) Bowen, and Charles Rocconi; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning one hour prior at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. She will be laid to rest in Iron Mountain at a later date.
