TRAVERSE CITY — Patricia Ann Sivek, 77, of Traverse City, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Munson Medical Center.Patricia was born to the late Victor and Lila Potts on Dec. 24, 1932, in Traverse City. She graduated as a member of the 1951 class from Traverse City Central High School. On July 18, 1953, Patricia married William James Sivek at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.Patricia lived most of her married years as a homemaker and a wonderful mother to four daughters. She and her husband spent many days boating on East Bay, soaking in the sun and catching as much fish as they could, and frying up the best fish dinners ever! Patricia loved to socialize, and enjoyed talking and lunching with her old school friends.Patricia is survived by her four daughters, Cynthia (Allen) Stanford of Traverse City, Debra Sivek-Majszak of Traverse City, Tracey (Randy) O'Connor of Traverse City and Marcia (Vince) Sivek-Duperron of Cuppertino, Calif.; six grandchildren, Amber (Elton) Pepellashi, Brook Stanford, Nathaniel (Tami) Majszak, Rachel Majszak, Melissa (Dawid) Conradie, and Benjamin O'Connor; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Darlene (Don) Zientek.Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sharon Kay Matthews; one grandson, Zachary Stanford; and her husband, William J. Sivek.A memorial service celebrating Patricia's life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday July 9, at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with Father James Hayden officiating.
