Patricia J. Slagal

Patricia J. Slagal a lifetime resident of Traverse City passed away January 21, 2015. She was born December 11, 1930 to Christian and Inez (Powers) Iverson in Bear Lake, MI. Patricia taught school for a few years before getting married to Paul Slagal on May 26, 1950 in Beulah..
Patricia was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and worked at Tom's Market in the produce department retiring in 2011 after 42 years of service.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 2008, her parents, brother; Christian Iverson and sister Ann Wallaker.
She is survived by her daughter Christina Gray, sons; James (Jan) Slagal and Scott (Jill) Slagal of Traverse City and son Patrick Slagal of Key West, FL.
Grandchildren; Jimmy (Jamie) Gray and their daughter Shelbie of Alaska, Jason and Justin Slagal, special niece Elizabeth Wallaker all of Traverse City and niece Betsy (Larry) Bielski of Manistee.
A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2015 at 1:00PM at the First Church of the Nazarene, in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
