Patrick Brian Morey, 83, lifelong native of Traverse City, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Bortz Health Care of Traverse. Pat was born on September 6, 1931 in Greilickville, MI to the late James and Charlotte (Slepicka) Morey. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era and was a devoted Detroit Tigers fan.

Pat is survived by two daughters; Kathy (Eric) Guttenberg, Kim Dalimonte, and son Michael (Brenda) Morey, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, his brother Joseph Morey, and beloved companion Shirley Wares. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pat was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristen Williams, his granddaughter Amanda Williams, his brother James Morey, his nephew Christopher Morey, and sister-in-laws Julie Morey and Mary Morey.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place as well as a private family service.
