Paul Edward Kronberg

January 5, 1951 — December 28, 2016

Paul Edward Kronberg, 65, of Traverse City and Central Lake, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 28, 2016.
Paul was born on January 5, 1951 in Flint, Michigan. He married Susan Elizabeth Warner, whom he met in high school, on June 3, 1972 also in Flint. Together they raised their only child, Andrea.
Paul graduated in 1969 from Ainsworth High School in Flint. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force during 1970-1973. After his return from the service, he studied Business at the University of Michigan.
He started working for IBM, and was National Sales Rookie of the Year his first year. He achieved several 100% Clubs as well as Golden Circles in which only the top 100 performers out of over 450,000 employees achieved. Paul eventually made four corporate ladder jumps, and currently worked for Cognizant Technology Solutions where he was the National Director of Sales-Global Healthcare Practice. In Paul's 13 years at Cognizant, he has attained President's Club in 04, 05, 06, 07, and 2015. He contributed over 200 million in annual revenues today, and helped build out their dominant position in healthcare.
Paul loved University of Michigan Athletics especially U of M Football. He was thrilled to have Jim Harbaugh return to the football program and was anxiously waiting to see great things happen.
Paul never missed a Happy Hour with family and friends. He loved boating, hunting, fishing, and family vacations. Most of all, he loved spending time with his 3 grandchildren. He rarely missed a game or school event that his grandchildren were involved with. You could often see him at Traverse City St. Francis games, and was so proud that his grandchildren attended there. Paul was a dedicated, loyal, and hard-working driven man. He will be remembered for his humor, endless energy, perseverance, selflessness, kind heart, his ever-giving generosity, his unsolicited opinions, and most importantly, being the very best family man. He always made every one feel good, and was every one's best friend.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Susan of 44 years; daughter Andrea (Mark) Domres; grandchildren, Corbin, Campbell and Cutler; sisters Cheryl (Larry) Lewis of Grand Rapids, MI, Darcy (Dr. David) Ojeda of Naples, FL, and Pam (Lance) Wickham of Milton, FL. ; sister-in-law, Holly (David) Kaczmarczyk of Clio, MI ; brother-in-laws Chris (Wendy) Warner of Grand Rapids, MI and Tom Warner of Grand Blanc, MI.;9 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews and his beloved English Springer Spaniel, Chester.
As Paul would often say, "Those that stay will be champions." And, he will always be a champion in our hearts!
