Obituary

Paul Anthony Miller, age 64, of Traverse City, Michigan passed away after a fierce battle with cancer on March 19th, 2025 comforted by his loving wife and family.

Paul was born on May 25th, 1960 in Traverse City to Jack and Rosemary Miller. He was raised on the shores of West Bay and spent his childhood hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He attended St. Francis High School and graduated in 1978. Paul spent most of his career working as a Paver Operator, building roads all over Northern Michigan. He worked very hard and was very good at his job.

Paul and his wife, Darlene Miller, have been together for 28 years and were married at the Miller Family Cottage at Spider Lake on August 30th, 2014. They embraced life's many adventures and enjoyed numerous similar interests. They loved to spend time together enjoying the outdoors and their family. Paul had three boys, Matt Town, Stephen Town and Tyler Town. In addition, he had three grandchildren Everly, Hazel and Mack. Paul loved all of them very much.

He was also a man of many talents. He loved spending time in his garage, especially restoring classic cars including Corvettes, Camaros and his current project - a 1968 Chevy Pickup. He loved being a crew member on the boys' snowmobile racing team spending hours in the race shop and the track. He has spent the last few years building his dream cottage on Spider Lake. The family has enjoyed countless days together working on the project and learning from Paul. Paul had a passion for building and fixing things, and he loved to share that passion with others.

Paul was kind, reliable and selfless. He would never hesitate to drop everything to help someone in need. He loved his family and having dance parties with his granddaughters. He has left a positive impact on many lives and will be deeply missed.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife Darlene; three children Matt, Stephen (Krystn) and Tyler (Kelly); grandchildren Everly, Hazel, and Mack; siblings Dick (Arlene), Bruce (Missy), Mary (Mark), Betty (Mark), and Barb (Zaf) and several extended family members.
