Obituary

Paul Allen Weber entered his eternal home unexpectedly on February 24, 2025 at Munson Medical Center located in Traverse City, Michigan.

He was born the only son of George Martin Weber and Elsie Elizabeth Ochs-Weber on September 5,1944 in Highland Park, Michigan. After high school and junior college, he served four years in the United States Navy. Paul worked as photographic intelligence aboard the Bon Homme Richard during the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he owned and operated his photography studio named "Picturesque Photography" in Redford, Michigan. Paul photographed many students of schools, families, pets, individual portraits, and dance studios. He also was known for his beautiful still life and outdoor photography. Paul was an elder at Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Dearborn, Michigan.

He attended Trinity Lutheran Church of Traverse City, while caring for his mother for 12 years. After her 2021 death (at the age of 104 years), he remained at the Weber lake home until his death.

Preceding him in death are his parents; brother-in-law, Douglas Thunder; and one niece, Cheryl Knorr. He is survived by sisters Sharon Knorr (Ralph) and Patricia Thunder, a niece Caren Knorr, and nephews Scott Thunder, Craig Knorr, Kenneth Thunder, and Timothy Thunder. Paul will be greatly missed by family, cousins, and friends.

He is at peace with his Lord. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, Livonia, MI at 2:30 pm.
