Paul Clarence Wilsens

Paul Clarence Wilsens, 58, of Traverse City, passed away on January 20, 2017. Paul was born on June 29, 1958 in Brookfield, WI. to his parents Leonard and Mary Leigh (Lindstrum) Wilsens.
He graduated from Whitewater College in WI, earned his masters degree at Western Michigan University, and achieved a doctorate degree in Audiology in 2003. After graduating from Western in 1981, he was offered a position in audiology at Munson Medical Center and spent his entire career working there.
Paul loved nature and enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, biking, hunting, camping and spending time with his family, Melissa and Christopher. He volunteered for the Father Fred Foundation and was an active member of Bay Pointe Community Church
He is survived by his mother, Mary Leigh Wilsens; children; daughter, Melissa Wilsens; son, Christopher Wilsens; brother, Pete Wilsens and sisters Mary Taylor, Kathy Mitchell and Karen Bender
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Wilsens
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 4 - 8 pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
