Obituary

Peggy Jeanette (Fenton) Menge, 71, of Traverse City passed away January 7, 2015 at her home. Peggy was born on November 12, 1943 in Reed City, Michigan to the late Glen and Ruth (Ratliff) Fenton. Peggy is survived by her son Bill Menge (Jennifer Sienkiewicz) and granddaughter Caitlyn of Traverse City, a sister and brother-in-law Barbara (Fenton) and Edward Holtcamp of Grayling, Nephews Charles (Debra) Holtcamp, Randy Holtcamp and Matthew (Lisa) Holtcamp and many great and great-great nieces and nephews in Traverse City and Roscommon along with her three cats, Bailey, Jake and Walley who were her "boys". Peggy worked for the State of Michigan as a Disability Determination Assistant for 35 years and retired in October of 2013. During her retirement she enjoyed knitting baby blankets for friends, family members, and Munson Medical Centers' NICU, spending time with family, working on puzzles and word searches and watching TV. There will be a visitation for Peggy on Tuesday, January 13th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Reynolds- Jonkhoff Funeral Home. There will be another visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church on Wednesday January 14th from 1:00pm-1:30pm with funeral at 1:30pm and luncheon to follow, also at Trinity Lutheran Church.
