Peggy Ann Priest

TRAVERSE CITY — Peggy Ann Priest, 63, of Traverse City, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 26, 2014. Peggy was born on July 3, 1951, in Traverse City, to the late Bud Howard and Regina Ruth (McCormick) Priest.
Peggy worked in the insurance industry for much of her life.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading and being active in the community. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, who will greatly miss her famous chocolate chip cookies. Peggy cherished her grandchildren and loved being with them.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Angie (Mike) Stuart, of Traverse City, and their girls, Lauren, Emily and Avery; and her son, Rick Carter, of St. Louis, Missouri, and his son, Tyler.
A memorial service will be held at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at noon, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. A luncheon will be held following the service on the second floor of the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens, where Peggy will be laid to rest next to her parents.
