Peggy Colleen Wright, age 85, of Interlochen, was called home on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Peggy was born on August 12, 1939 in Manton, Illinois to the late John & Geneva (Irey) Collinsworth. She was a graduate of Garden City High School and worked as medical records secretary for many years. In 1958, she married the love of her life, Larry Wright. Peggy was of Catholic faith and thoroughly enjoyed camping, painting, and photography. In her lifetime, she traveled by camper to 49 out of the 50 states and would take many pictures of all the fun activities that took place.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lawrence "Larry" Wright; children: Collette Potts, Kevin Wright, Ann (Robert) Klipple; grandchildren: Amy Potts, Jeremy Potts, Brandon (Michelle) Wright, Carly (Linda) Watson, Alexa (Tyler) Hack, Morgan Klipple; great-grandchildren: Brennen (McKenna) Wright, Nolan Wright, Addison Wright, Mabel Potts, Oliver Wright, Eloise Potts, Blaire Hack; sister-in-law, Dianna Fern; special friends: Karen Tinker, Iris Watson, Penni Stapleton; beloved pet, Wynter; and many more friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Collinsworth.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Hospice of Michigan, who took great care of Peggy in her final days.
