Peter Alan Budreau, 67, of Houghton Lake passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Peter was born August 28, 1950 to Arthur and Elanore (Webb) Budreau in Reese, MI. He served his country in the United States Navy and returned back to Northern Michigan after his enlistment. He married Karen Wilkens on July 16, 1977 at a service in Traverse City. He loved the outdoors and spent his time fishing, mushroom picking, deer hunting and four wheeling. He enjoyed playing guitar and his daily coffee.
Peter is survived by his wife Karen; children Deidra Budreau, Melissa Wolf, Peter Budreau, Allycia (Joel Cox) Budreau and Erika Budreau; sisters Carol (Terry) Bonnell, Ruth (Larry) Trish, Janet (Clyde) Letson and Linda Leesburg; brothers Art (Janet) Budrea, Jerry Budreau, Larry (Joyce) Budreau and Butch VanBuren; grand children Lauren Wolfe, Connor Wolfe, Brady Wolfe, Kathy-Lynn Budreau, Riley Cox and Isabella Cox.
He was preceded in death by his mother Elanore; daughter Leann Budreau; brothers, Don Budreau, Bob Budreau and Bernard Budreau and grandson Brennan Budreau.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at noon at the Cherryland VFW Post #2780, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.
