Peter David Cole, 66, of Cedar, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
Pete was born on May 28, 1949 in Traverse City to the late Robert and Cora (Sheffer) Cole. He married Rebecca Sue Hall on November 25, 1972 also in Traverse City.
Pete loved to hunt, fish, and watch Nascar. Jeff Gordon was his by far his favorite driver to watch. Family was very important to Pete. He loved to spend time with all of them especially his grandchildren. He will fondly be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His smile and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Surviving Pete is his wife Rebecca; children, David Cole, Peter "Pete" (Kelly) Cole, Colette (Joshua) Cole, Lucy Cole and Duard Cole; grandchildren, Christian, Mykala, Robert and Ethan; siblings, Robert Cole, and Ellen Watson; a loving dog Lobo and many other loving family members and granddogs.
