Priscilla Elizabeth Tretyak

Priscilla Elizabeth Tretyak, 74, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013 at her home after a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on January 22, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Victor and Stella (Osowski) Palson. She lived in Lincoln Park and married Laurence Tretyak in October of 1959, he survives her. They lived in the Detroit suburbs of Southgate and Novi until moving to the Honor area in 1999.

Priscilla worked as a secretary for a gas company before raising a family. Later she worked as an Aid in Physical Therapy in the 1980's and as a Historical Presenter at Greenfield Village in Dearborn. After moving north she did volunteer work at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire.

Surviving Priscilla is her husband, Laurence, two sons and a daughter; Laurence (Gina) Tretyak, Jr. of Highland, Steven (Cathy) Tretyak of Southgate, and Linda Loewe of Dearborn Heights, five grandchildren; Jessica Loewe, Jill (Dan) Exner, Laura (Brandon) Muntz, William Loewe and Emily Tretyak, three great-grandchildren and a brother, Thomas (Sandra) Palson of Lincoln Park.

Funeral Liturgy honoring Priscilla will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 11411 S. Lacore Rd., Empire, MI 49630.
Inurnment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Township, MI

Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
