Ralph Steven Hintsala's Obituary
Ralph Steven Hintsala, age 82, of Traverse City, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025.
Ralph was proud of his Finnish heritage. He loved his Lutheran upbringing and clung to his savior, Jesus Christ. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Interlochen.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, John & Lydia (Wainio) Hintsala; and aunt, Martha Wainio.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Hintsala; children, Leslie (Corbin) Buttleman, Steven (Tamara) Hintsala, Johnathon (Anita) Hintsala, Karlee (Joshua) Buske; stepdaughters, Leigh (Cecil) Gaddy, Molly (Alan) Notenbaum, grandchildren and step grandchildren, Corbin Luc, Hayden, Reagen, Johnathon "JJ", Oliver, Jaidev, Claire, Marshall, Maxwell, Franklin, Cooper; sister, Mary (David) Collins; niece, Karista (Justin) Hill; and many family members in the upper peninsula.
Per family's wishes, cremation will take place, and no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be given to Thrive Medical Clinic of Traverse City.
