Ralph Stallman, age 82, of Chesterfield, MI passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Ralph was a devout Catholic and a proud US Army Veteran. He loved his family fiercely and was completely devoted to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ralph was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending most of his life in the outdoors. He was an active member of the VA in Chesterfield, MI.
Ralph is survived by his children, Todd (Windi) Stallman, Heidi Ford, Michelle Thompson, Janet (Jack) Roydes; grandchildren, Amanda Rybicki, Dusty Thompson, Erica Hewitt, Britney Hafeman, Emmaly Pyne, Chloe Maycroft, Olivia Maycroft, Leanna Talaske, Breyanne Stallman; several great grandchildren; and siblings, Ruthann Sleder, Jerry Stallman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Margaret (Swanson) Stallman; and his sister, Barbara Kovarik.
A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, with a Rosary to be said at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 12, 2026 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 315 W. Broadway, Suttons Bay, MI. Family will welcome visitors an hour prior to Mass starting at 10:00 am. A Luncheon will follow Mass. Burial with Military Honors will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
