Obituary

R.B. Frazier, 85 of Acme, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.

R.B. was born on January 26, 1928 in Eustace TX to the late James A. and Birdie Mae (Johnson) Frazier. He married Ivah M. Miller on September 4, 1954 in Clovis, NM. Together they raised 8 wonderful children.

R.B. honorably served our country in the United States Army and Air force, earning both the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. Upon his return from service he worked for AT&T in the Management and Switch Technician Departments. He was a dedicated pioneer member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

R.B. was an outdoor enthusiast. Building things also brought great joy to R.B. He built and remolded several homes, a boat, and many other crafty items. However, spending time with his family brought the most happiness to his life. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Surviving R.B. is his wife Ivah of 59 wonderful years, children, Douglas (Teresa) Frazier, Denise (Marlie) Smith, Karen (Tom Gannon) Frazier, Cindy (Curt Keiser) Green, Tina (Kim) Tezak, Terry (Howard Geyer) Kantz, Pamela (Kurt Miller) Frazier, Angela Iaconelli, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, sisters Erma Lee Lewis and Bertha Mae Bucholtz and many other loving family members and friends.

R.B. is preceded in death by his parents, 8 siblings and son-in-law David Kantz.

Visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a scripture service at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church with a visitation beginning at 10am. Burial will take place at the Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to Christ The King Catholic Church, or Folds of Honor.
