Obituary

Reba M. Rudolph, 87, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Munson Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1926 in Strongs, Michigan to the late Frank and Myrtle (Shufelt) Whitmarsh. She was married to Edwin Rudolph on August 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on February 8, 2009. Reba was a teacher and had been employed with the Lansing Public Schools for over 25 years. She volunteered her time at Capital Area Schools Credit Union. She was very active and a proud supporter of the Oak Park YMCA of Lansing. Reba was a Spartan and the best MSU sports fan.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter; Rick (Dawn) Rudolph, Christine (Bill) Green and John (Kim) Rudolph; three grandchildren; Brian (Michelle) Green, Brad (Angela) Green and Derrick Rudolph, also four great-grandchildren; Lucas and Isabelle Green and Kali and Katherine Green.

In the spirit of continuing to educate, Reba has graciously donated herself to Michigan State University Medical School.

In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the Invest in Youth Program at the Oak Park YMCA, 900 Long Blvd., Lansing, Michigan, 48911.
