TRAVERSE CITY — Reva Hughes, 87, of Traverse City, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at her home in Traverse City.Reva was born to the late John and Reva (Bidleman) Lasco. She married Robert W. Hughes in 1948 and raised her family in Flint. Reva was a member of the First Congregational Church in Traverse City.Surviving Reva are her children, Janet Hughes (Tom Babel), of Traverse City, Wayne (Barbara) Hughes, of Durham, N.C.; and her grandsons, Nicolas Hughes, of Houston, Texas, Collin Hughes, of Herndon, Va., and Lee Babel, of Traverse City.Reva was preceded in death by her husband and son, Robert Hughes III.A family ceremony will take place at a later date at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flushing.
